Royal Bank of Canada declared a quarterly common share dividend of $1.76, an increase of 12 cents or 7%, reporting second-quarter results on 28 May.

The dividend is payable on or after 24 August 2026 to shareholders of record at the close of business on 27 July.

The bank reported net income of $5.5 billion for the quarter ended 30 April 2026, up $1,119 million or 25% on the same quarter a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share were $3.85, up 27%, with growth across each business segment.

RBC said the increase moves its dividend payout ratio toward the midpoint of its stated 40% to 50% range.
